As a Testing Tech Lead Analyst at Citi, you will play a crucial role in defining, planning, and executing testing automation strategies for the Global Funds Transfer Pricing Application. Your responsibilities will include: - Defining, planning, and executing testing automation strategy for CitiFTP, monitoring automation coverage, and enhancing the existing automation framework. - Designing, developing, and implementing scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, and data validation testing on the Big Data/Hadoop platform. - Collaborating with various teams to integrate automation into the agile SDLC and enhance testing efficiency. - Developing robust test scripts, maintaining automation suites, and improving overall test coverage and release quality through automation. - Establishing and tracking key QA metrics, advocating for best practices in test automation, and driving the adoption of AI/ML-based testing tools. To qualify for this role, you should have: - 12+ years of experience in functional and non-functional software testing, with 5+ years as a Test Automation Lead. - Expertise in test automation frameworks/tools like Jenkins, Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, Junit, and Cypress. - Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or other scripting languages, along with expertise in SQL. - Experience with API testing tools, performance testing tools, build tools, continuous integration tools, and source management tools. - Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, DevOps practices, and functional Test tool (JIRA). - Familiarity with cloud-based test execution, big data testing, and database testing automation. - Preferred certifications such as ISTQB Advanced, Certified Agile Tester, or Selenium WebDriver certification. Additionally, you should possess excellent communication and diplomacy skills, hands-on experience in code review, unit testing, and integration testing, and a passion for automation in quality engineering.
