Sr. Development Manager, MOBO Applications, Information Technology

As a Java Developer at our company, your role involves designing, developing, and maintaining efficient Java code to support system functionality. You will be responsible for developing components necessary for the rollout of MOBO functionalities, ensuring seamless integration and performance. Your key responsibilities include identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving operational issues, as well as collaborating with the Development team on implementation, technical reviews, testing, and deployment of software releases. Additionally, you will focus on automation, process efficiency, and optimization tasks to improve performance and deliver measurable KPIs. Your role also involves participating in the design and execution of automation solutions to enhance productivity and reduce manual efforts. You will drive initiatives aligned with the Technology roadmap for the Middle and Back Office teams, ensuring the delivery of strategic goals. It is essential to maintain documentation of code, processes, and technical procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and standard adherence. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code - Develop components for MOBO functionalities with seamless integration - Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues - Collaborate with the Development team on software releases - Focus on automation, process efficiency, and optimization tasks - Participate in automation solutions design and execution - Drive initiatives aligned with the Technology roadmap - Maintain documentation for knowledge sharing and standard adherence Qualifications Required: - Computer Science or equivalent degree - 10 to 15 years of hands-on experience in building enterprise applications with various web technologies - Strong hands-on Core Java skills - Development experience in a banking/capital market environment - Working knowledge of Unix OS (Solaris, Linux, etc.) - Hands-on experience with code management tools like Git/Bitbucket - Good working knowledge of messaging systems (JMS, Solace, EMS, MQ, etc.) - Good knowledge of Relational database, Oracle, SQL (DML, DDL) - Understanding of various design patterns - Good working knowledge of the Spring framework (Boot, Integration, Batch, Actuator) - Hands-on experience of Maven - Exposure to development environments and related tools (Build management, Source Control management, Continuous Integration, Code Review Tools) - Good communication skills in English As a Java Developer at our company, your role involves designing, developing, and maintaining efficient Java code to support system functionality.
