Key Areas of Responsibilities Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Develop new features and enhance existing Calypso configurations to support business functions effectively.Identify performance bottlenecks within Calypso applications and optimize to enhance efficiency and responsiveness.Work closely with production support teams during releases and issue management to ensure stability. Investigate and resolve escalated issues from the production support team. Collaborate with support teams to diagnose root causes and implement sustainable solutions.Adhere to and promote best practices in version control, continuous integration, and release management.Ensure consistent documentation of design, configuration, support procedures, user manuals, and operational guidelines.Oversee development to ensure code is thoroughly covered by unit tests. Guarantee rigorous testing of all changes before deployment to QA or UAT environments.Coordinate with project managers, business stakeholders, and other technical teams to align on project deliverables.Lead technical discussions and provide mentorship to team members to foster a collaborative and high-performing environment.Other tasks related to projects as directed by the manager Requirements 7-10 years of experience in software development in the banking/finance sectorStrong development skills in Java 8 or laterHands on with J2EE servers such as JBoss and good understanding of Java memory optimizationFamiliar with Spring framework, and web-based application developmentStrong hands-on experience in writing complex queries and optimizing queries for performanceFamiliar with scripting in Linux and WindowsWorking knowledge of automated unit testing frameworks and best practicesVery strong attention to details, can work independentlyGood communication skills in English .
