As a Technical Lead – Database Administration, we are looking for a experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) and strong expertise in Exadata Cloud Services (ExaCS). The candidate should have hands‑on experience in provisioning, managing, and supporting ExaCS environments, along with strong capabilities in backup, recovery, and high availability/disaster recovery setups. Responsibilities: -

Perform database lifecycle management, including installation, patching, upgrades, and performance tuning. Monitor database health, performance, and capacity, and proactively resolve issues. Independently handle production incidents, troubleshooting, and root‑cause analysis. Collaborate with Cloud, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure stable and scalable database operations. Ensure compliance with security, availability, and operational best practices.

Educational Qualifications: -

Engineering Degree – BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc. Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable.

• Mandatory Technical Skills: -

Over 10 years of experience as an Oracle DBA in enterprise environments Hands‑on experience in Exadata Cloud Services (ExaCS) Expertise in provisioning and managing ExaCS using OCI Console and APIs Extensive experience in RMAN backups, restores, and recovery operations Strong knowledge of OCI snapshot‑based backups and recovery In-depth understanding of Oracle RAC for high availability Strong experience in configuring and managing Oracle Data Guard for disaster recovery Ability to independently own database operations and troubleshoot complex issues

Good to Have Skills: -

Experience in Oracle upgrades and patching in ExaCS environments Performance tuning and optimization on Exadata platforms Exposure to automation and scripting (Shell, Python) OCI certifications or equivalent Cloud database experience Strong ownership and accountability mindset Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently in critical production environments Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills
