Project Engineer

Job Summary Amanora Mall Management is seeking experienced and dynamic Project Engineers to manage and execute Hospitality Interior Fit-Out projects and Tenant Fit-Out Coordination. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in interior project execution, preferably from the hospitality, retail, or mall project domain, with hands-on experience in site coordination, AutoCAD, and project management. Candidates with at least 35 years of relevant experience will be preferred. Key Responsibilities A. Hospitality Interior Fit-Out Projects Manage day-to-day site execution of hospitality interior fit-out projects. Interpret architectural and interior drawings and ensure accurate on-site execution. Prepare, review, and coordinate AutoCAD drawings, shop drawings, and site modifications. Monitor and control project schedules, quality standards, safety compliance, and material requirements. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications. Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and the internal design team. Track project progress and prepare daily / weekly progress reports for management review. Resolve technical issues at site and coordinate with stakeholders for timely project completion. B. Tenant Fit-Out Coordination Coordinate with mall tenants and their appointed contractors for fit-out execution as per mall guidelines. Review tenant fit-out drawings and ensure compliance with Mall's design criteria and technical standards. Issue and track fit-out NOCs, approvals, and site access permissions. Monitor tenant fit-out progress and flag deviations or non-compliance to the management team. Conduct joint inspections (pre-handover and post-completion) with tenants and their teams. Maintain records of all tenant fit-out activities, correspondence, and approvals. Ensure timely completion of tenant fit-outs in line with store opening schedules. Eligibility & Requirements Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related discipline. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hospitality interior fit-out projects, retail fit-out, or mall project coordination. Strong knowledge of interior finishing works, site execution, and project coordination. Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory. Ability to read and interpret architectural, interior, and MEP drawings. Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work under project deadlines. Willingness to travel to project sites as required. Preferred Skills & Added Advantages Prior experience in hospitality, retail, or commercial interior fit-out projects. Background in Mall project management or tenant coordination is a strong advantage. Knowledge of BOQ preparation, material planning, billing, and vendor management. Familiarity with MS Office and project reporting / tracking tools. Knowledge of MEP coordination and finishing works in large-format projects.
