About the role
Role Overview: As a Senior App Developer at Cityfurnish, you will be responsible for architecting, building, and maintaining high-performance React Native apps for both iOS and Android platforms. You will play a key role in developing customer-facing app screens, internal ops tools, and contributing to web interfaces as needed. Your focus will be on ensuring smooth performance, polished UI/UX, and seamless integration of AI coding tools to enhance productivity. Key Responsibilities: - Architect, build, and maintain React Native apps for iOS and Android - Develop customer-facing app screens covering onboarding, KYC, product browse, cart, checkout, subscription management, and service requests - Build and maintain internal ops apps for warehouse staff, delivery teams, and operations managers - Ensure smooth performance, minimal crash rates, and polished UI/UX - Implement deep linking, push notifications, background sync, and offline-first patterns - Contribute to web interfaces built in React / Next.js - Build and integrate REST APIs using Node.js and Express - Work with PostgreSQL or MySQL databases - Handle third-party API integrations such as payment gateways, KYC providers, and communication platforms - Actively use AI coding tools for code generation, debugging, refactoring, and documentation Qualification Required: - 3+ years of hands-on React Native development experience - Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript - Experience with React Navigation, state management, and async data patterns - Node.js with Express for backend API development - Familiarity with React / Next.js for web interfaces - Understanding of mobile performance optimization - Knowledge of app deployment processes - Experience with Git / GitHub workflows and CI/CD basics Additional Details: Cityfurnish is a leading furniture and appliance rental platform in India, operating across 7 cities with a tech-first approach.
