Backend Engineer- SDE III NodeJS

What problems will you be working on: • Architecture and development of mission critical systems that constitute the core of our operations • Brainstorming and chalking out solutions to business requirements • Implementing complex workflows • Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality • Reach out to the open-source community to encourage and help implement mission critical software fixes Must have skills: • 2 years - 4yrs of experience working in a high growth startup building APIs and architecture that scales using NodeJS, Javascript • Sound understanding of writing reliable, readable, and extensible software that would stand the test of time • Strong core javascript skills • Strong Experience with Relational Databases like Postgres and writing complex performant queries • Good understanding of nosql database like mongodb, cassandra • Experience with distributed caching systems like Redis and distributed messaging systems like Kafka • High sense of responsibility and ownership • Ability to write well-documented, clean Javascript code • A strong grasp of client-side frameworks such as React.js, VueJS and hands-on experience of React Native • Sound understanding of algorithms, data structures and databases • Devops experience of using Docker, Ansible, Kubernetes, AWS is a plus
