About the role
Role Overview: At Clario, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will be a Senior Mobile Application Engineer (.NET MAUI / Xamarin) responsible for designing, building, and evolving the Clario Appthe core mobile platform used by patients and clinical research sites in global clinical trials. Your role will involve developing robust, scalable mobile applications using C#, MVVM architecture, and modern cross-platform frameworks such as .NET MAUI. You will take ownership of mobile solution design, contribute to architectural decisions, and uphold high standards for code quality, performance, and maintainability. Collaborating closely with product, UX, quality engineering, and clinical stakeholders, you will deliver patient-facing applications globally, ensuring stability, usability, and data integrity are maintained for advancing life-changing clinical research. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications using C# and the .NET ecosystem, ensuring clean, maintainable, and efficient code - Implement scalable software architectures using established design patterns and principles for modular, testable, and maintainable systems - Develop applications following the Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM) pattern to ensure strong separation of concerns and maintainable UI logic - Apply industry best practices, including SOLID principles, clean code standards, and reusable design patterns, while actively participating in code reviews - Analyze technical requirements and design solutions that balance performance, scalability, and maintainability - Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and external services, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange - Identify performance bottlenecks and implement improvements to optimize system responsiveness and resource utilization - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and contribute to engineering best practices - Participate in architectural discussions and continuously improve system reliability, maintainability, and development standards Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - 5+ years of professional software development experience - Expertise in C# and .NET frameworks - Experience implementing MVVM architecture - Understanding of software design patterns such as Factory, Singleton, Repository, and Dependency Injection - Experience designing scalable system architectures and distributed applications - Hands-on experience designing and consuming REST APIs - Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles - Agile development environment experience - Experience with .NET MAUI, Xamarin, or cross-platform development frameworks (preferred) - Experience with performance profiling, debugging tools, and automated testing frameworks including unit, integration, or UI testing (preferred) - Analytical and problem-solving capabilities - Collaboration and communication skills - Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex features - Interest in mentoring and guiding other engineers - Based in or able to work from India (Remote / Hybrid) Role Overview: At Clario, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will be a Senior Mobile Application Engineer (.NET MAUI / Xamarin) responsible for designing, building, and evolving the Clario Appthe core mobile platform used by patients and clinical research sites in global clinical trials.
