DevOps Engineer

Clear Ridge Defense is seeking a TS/SCI cleared professional with polygraph to serve as our DevOps Engineer in Fort Meade, MD

Roles and Responsibilities

You will...

• Deploy and manage production software using Kubernetes (CLI and k9s), Docker Swarm, Helm, and Flux

• Automate workflows using Bash, Python and related scripting tools

• Become a subject matter expert in the full platform/application stack, including release processes, tooling, and data dependencies

• Maintain and troubleshoot relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL) as part of the platform stack

Must-Haves

You possess...

• A TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

• Security+ certification or equivalent (JCAC)

• A hybrid background in DevOps, Cybersecurity, System Administration, Software Development and Database Management.

• Proficiency in a scripting or programming language (e.g., Python)

• Understanding of SQL/PostgreSQL and database troubleshooting

• Solid grasp of networking fundamentals, including pod-level ingress/egress and DNS

• Leadership experience

• $150,000 - $200,000 / year
