About the role
Working directly with clients, managers and technical staff to understand business needs, develop technical plans, and deliver impactful solutions that solve client problems Designing and coding new software or modify existing software to add new features Debugging existing software, correcting defects and providing recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards Integrating existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments Designing or implement complex database or data repository interfaces/queries Developing software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, conferring with users or system engineers; analyzing systems flow, data usage and work processes; and investigating problem areas Modify existing software to correct errors, to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance Designing or implementing complex algorithms requiring adherence to strict timing, system resource, or interface constraints; Perform quality control on team products Overseeing software development teams and ensuring the work is completed in accordance with the applicable constraints Coordinating software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure operational specifications are met
