About the role
A growth-stage AI-powered procurement platform for industrial companies is looking for a Senior or Staff Product Designer to help shape how agentic AI capabilities come to life inside a product used daily by non-technical procurement professionals. You'll join a small, high-craft design team working closely with PMs, engineers, and domain experts — making AI feel natural, trustworthy, and genuinely useful in a complex B2B environment.
This is an on-site role based in Munich, Germany. Visa sponsorship is not available.
What You'll DO
-
Define how agentic AI capabilities present in the product — from communicating "the agent is working" to surfacing what it found in a clear, actionable way.
-
Design interaction patterns where AI and human judgment collaborate, not compete.
-
Produce short-horizon vision work (3–6 months) as prototypes and tangible artifacts that guide the product team.
-
Raise product craft and design coherence as engineering velocity and feature output increase.
-
Work directly in code for last-mile polish — checking out PRs and tweaking interactions before they ship.
-
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and domain experts to translate deep procurement complexity into usable, elegant experiences.
What We're Looking FOR
-
Required:
-
Senior-level product designer with a strong portfolio of shipped product work — ideally in B2B SaaS, complex workflows, or data-heavy products.
-
Strong capabilities across visual design, interaction design, product thinking, and code-based prototyping (a "block-shaped" generalist, not a single-specialty T-shape).
-
Practical experience prototyping beyond Figma — able to build runnable prototypes that communicate intent and behavior.
-
Proficiency with design tools, primarily Figma (FigJam, Sketch, or InVision also welcome).
-
Experience defining and maintaining design systems and component libraries.
-
Experience conducting user research and usability testing to inform product decisions.
-
Thoughtful opinions about how AI should appear in products, with a focus on trust, transparency, and appropriate automation.
-
Comfortable operating with ambiguity and inventing new patterns for novel problems.
-
Regular user of AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) as part of research, ideation, and prototyping workflows.
-
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, data science) in a fast-paced environment.
-
Nice to Have:
-
Experience designing for non-technical users in complex B2B domains (e.g., procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, ERP).
-
Prior hands-on experience designing agentic or autonomous AI features.
-
5–10+ years of relevant product design experience.
-
LOCATION
-
Munich, Bavaria, Germany — on-site
-
Visa sponsorship is not available
