About the role
Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using REST Assured, Java, and Selenium Create and enhance API automation solutions using REST Assured, Java, Jenkins, GitLab, and Karate framework Develop and execute in-sprint automation testing in an Agile development environment Build and optimize automation frameworks with strong OOPS principles and best practices Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab Generate comprehensive test reports and dashboards using Allure Reports Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects using Jira and Xray Maintain test documentation and automation artifacts in Confluence Perform both functional and non-functional API automation testing Work as an individual contributor and take ownership of assigned automation tasks Analyze test results, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions Required Qualifications Overall Experience: 5-9 years of solid experience in Test Automation Core Technical Skills (Mandatory): Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with REST Assured Minimum 4 years of Java programming experience for automation Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation Proficiency in API Automation using REST Assured and Java Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools: Jenkins and GitLab Experience with Karate framework for API testing Familiarity with Allure Reports for test reporting Working experience with Jira and Xray for test management Experience with Confluence for documentation Strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS) concepts and principles Ability to create and enhance automation frameworks from scratch In-Sprint automation testing experience in Agile environments Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as a team contributor Preferred Qualifications Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Knowledge of Playwright automation framework Database automation and SQL expertise NodeJS experience for automation scripting Experience in the Insurance domain Understanding of microservices architecture Experience with performance testing and load testing tools Technical Competencies API Automation Testing UI Automation Testing Test Framework Design and Development CI/CD Pipeline Integration Test Reporting and Analytics Defect Analysis and Root Cause Analysis Database Testing and Validation Agile/Scrum Methodology Soft Skills Proactive approach to problem-solving Strong communication and presentation skills Team collaboration and willingness to mentor junior team members Attention to detail and quality focus Time management and ability to handle multiple tasks Continuous learning mindset and adaptability MUST HAVE: MANDATORY SKILLS : Automation, Rest Assured (Minimum 4 Years), Selenium Java Location : hyderabad Notice Period Immediate to 15 Days Job stability must be 2yrs in an organization .
