Role Overview: As a Service Management Analyst at the global law firm, your primary responsibility will be the maintenance, configuration, and development of the firm's IT Service Management tool, ServiceNow. You will work closely with the Service Management Team, Wider IT Team, and Business Users of Custom Applications to deliver the service management roadmap, focusing on self-service, automation, and orchestration initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Help deliver the service management roadmap by implementing self-service, automation, and orchestration initiatives. - Stay updated on industry knowledge and scrutinize change requests to maximize value for the firm and its clients. - Maintain knowledge of all Service Management processes and their integration with the tool. - Work with process owners to improve requirements and ensure changes do not negatively impact other modules. - Provide escalation support for ServiceNow admins and ensure technical documentation is up to date. - Adhere to change management policies and procedures for bug fixes and upgrades. - Offer expert knowledge in building and developing reports from the tool. - Perform systems administration tasks in line with industry standards. - Support and manage the ServiceNow upgrade cycle, utilizing scripting to enhance tool functionality. - Plan, perform, and manage regular BCP tests for the ServiceNow platform. - Collaborate with the offshore support teams to ensure seamless integration with onshore responsibilities. Qualifications Required: Skills: - Strong technical development skills in ServiceNow - Strong problem-solving and entrepreneurial skills - Project management and organizational skills - Strong relationship-building skills - Ability to work independently and within a team environment - Excellent verbal and interpersonal communications skills - Customer-facing interaction or consulting experience is a plus Experience: - Experience interacting with global teams - Prior experience in a similar role with ServiceNow - Knowledge of ITSM Pro, custom applications, 3rd party integrations, and ServiceNow Mobile Apps - Experience with Unix/Linux/Windows environments, PHP, SQL, SOAP, XML, C#, Python is a plus Knowledge: - Deep knowledge and experience of JavaScript, web design, server-side programming, data structures, HTML, CSS, Ajax methodology Qualifications: - ITIL Foundation qualified with relevant ServiceNow development and implementation certificates - Degree level education In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on configuration and development tasks in the ServiceNow tool, maintain core data integrity, support the upgrade cycle, and collaborate with internal and external resources for scripting and integration work.
