AWS Cloud & Data Platform Support Engineer

Job Title: AWS Cloud Data Platform Support Engineer (Infrastructure Data Platform Operations Engineer) Experience: 4 6 Years Role Summary We are looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Data Platform Support Engineer to provide operational support, administration, and monitoring of cloud infrastructure and data platform services. The ideal candidate should have strong AWS and Linux administration skills, hands-on production support experience, and the ability to troubleshoot, automate, and maintain critical platform services in a 24x7 environment. Key Responsibilities Provide L2/L3 support for AWS cloud infrastructure and data platform services. Manage and support AWS EC2 environments, including AMI(Amazon Machine Image) lifecycle activities (release, republishing, retagging, and compliance-related tasks). Perform Linux administration on RHEL and Amazon Linux servers, including patching, upgrades, troubleshooting, and vulnerability remediation. Handle infrastructure incidents, service requests, change requests, and problem management activities following ITIL processes. Perform daily health checks, monitoring, availability management, and operational support activities. Support infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform. Monitor and troubleshoot platform and infrastructure issues using Datadog and Grafana. Support backup, recovery, system restoration, and environment maintenance activities. Collaborate with application, platform, and vendor teams to ensure platform stability and SLA adherence. Identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiency improvements.
