Clinovo is currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst for one of our clients. Job Title: Senior Business Analyst Experience Level: 5 to 8 Years Location: Remote Position Type: Full-Time Position Summary We are looking for a data-driven Senior Business Analyst with over 5 years of experience to bridge the gap between complex business needs and technical solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for owning the entire requirements lifecyclefrom elicitation to the creation of high-quality Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs). Beyond standard business analysis, you will act as a data translator. You must possess advanced Excel capabilities to extract immediate operational insights, alongside expertise in building impactful dashboards using modern Data Visualization tools (such as Power BI or Tableau). Technical familiarity with automation or data science scripting (VBScript, Python, or R) is highly preferred to help streamline our reporting and analytics workflows. Key Responsibilities 1. Requirements Engineering & Documentation Facilitate stakeholder workshops and interviews to elicit, analyze, and prioritize complex business requirements. Translate ambiguous business needs into transparent, structured, and legally/technically robust BRDs and FRDs. Create detailed functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and process workflow diagrams (using tools like Visio or Lucidchart). Manage requirement traceability throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring technical deliverables align perfectly with business expectations. 2. Advanced Data Analysis & Insights Leverage Advanced Excel (e.g., Power Query, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas, array functions) to manipulate, clean, and model large datasets to uncover hidden operational insights. Translate raw numbers into actionable business recommendations and executive-ready data summaries. Perform gap analysis, root-cause analysis, and impact assessments on existing business processes and systems. 3. Data Visualization & Reporting Design, develop, and maintain interactive, intuitive dashboards using visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView. Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) that empower leadership to make swift, data-backed decisions. Keep automated dashboards refreshed and error-free, ensuring high data integrity across all reporting structures. Required Skills: Experience: 5+ years of core experience working as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Data Analyst. Documentation Mastery: Proven track record of independently authoring comprehensive BRDs, FRDs, and functional mockups. Spreadsheet Power User: Advanced Excel skills with a deep understanding of data modeling, data sanitization, and generating automated insights. Visualization Stack: At least 2+ years of hands-on experience building enterprise- grade dashboards in Power BI or Tableau. Agile/SDLC: Strong familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, Jira, and Confluence.
