Junior Backend Developer

About the Role Junior Backend Developer (Python & Browser Automation) We are looking for a Junior Backend Developer to work on backend services, browser automation workflows, APIs, databases, and job-processing systems. The role involves building features, fixing issues, maintaining existing functionality, and working on day-to-day development tasks within an established platform. Key Responsibilities * Develop and maintain backend services and APIs. * Build and maintain browser automation workflows. * Implement new features based on product requirements. * Fix bugs and resolve issues in existing systems. * Work with databases and data-processing workflows. * Write and maintain tests for assigned features. * Participate in code reviews and development discussions. * Work with Docker-based development environments. Requirements * 13 years of software development experience. * Strong Python programming skills. * Experience with Playwright, Selenium, or similar browser automation frameworks (required). * Understanding of REST APIs and backend application development. * Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases. * Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows. * Ability to work within a large existing codebase. * Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. # Nice to Have * Experience with FastAPI. * Experience with Docker and Linux environments. * Experience with background workers, queues, or asynchronous processing. * Startup or fast-paced product development experience. # Tech Stack Python, FastAPI, Playwright, PostgreSQL, Docker, Linux, Git, Background Workers, Browser Automation. # Ideal Candidate A developer who is comfortable working on existing systems, can independently deliver assigned tasks, has strong attention to detail, and enjoys working with backend services and browser automation.
