About the role
As a talented and experienced .NET Developer, your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining robust web applications and APIs using ASP.NET, .NET Core, and front-end/back-end technologies. Your work will directly contribute to building scalable, high-performance applications to meet business and user needs. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop web applications using C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core. - Create and maintain RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Web API and .NET Core Web API. - Build scalable back-end services, integrating with SQL databases using Entity Framework Core and ADO.NET. - Implement interactive front-end functionality using JavaScript and jQuery. - Collaborate with data and DevOps teams for smooth integration and deployment. - Participate in code reviews, contribute to best practices, and ensure high code quality. - Troubleshoot and debug using tools like Visual Studio or VS Code. Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 39 years of experience in ASP.NET and .NET Core development. - Proficient in C#, OOP principles, MVC, and Microservices architecture. - Hands-on experience with SQL Server, Entity Framework, ADO.NET, and Web API. - Familiarity with HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, and optionally React or Angular. - Understanding of SOA, WCF, Web Services, and design patterns. - Exposure to Azure Cloud, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control tools (e.g., Git). - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. - Domain knowledge in Financial Services or Insurance (preferred). - Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Team player with positive organizational and time management skills. - Detail-oriented with a passion for clean, testable code. - Fast learner with a positive, proactive attitude.
