Job TitleProfessional, Quality Assurance Engineering (SDET) Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) LocationNoida Experience2-6 Years Mandatory SkillsAutomation Testing (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Playwright) ResponsibilitiesExecute integration, system, feature interaction, stress, performance testing for Clover products.Analyse and understand product requirements to enable software test case creation by participating in requirement gathering & analysis.Create and evaluate test cases for accuracy and applicability for products under test.Communicate testing progress through creating and maintaining test plans.Provide the Squad and all stakeholders with clear and realtime updates regarding test status, bug status, and overall quality about the product by monitoring failures, reporting bugs, analysing & triaging automated tests running in the Continuous Integration system.Find bugs and validate specifications through black box and graybox testing techniques (such as test matrices, combination testing, risk analysis, database querying, source code analysis).Work sidebyside with the development team on testing in parallel and automating tests in the sprints.Develop automated tests with BDD (Cucumber or Selenium) and other appropriate technologies.Design and implement tools that improve efficiency in manual testing.Handson experience on performance testing (API / Frontend) using LoadRunner, JMeter, Locust, etc.Participate in scrum ceremonies together with server engineers, frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.Support production deployment and bug triage. QualificationsBS in an engineering discipline (preferably computer science or engineering) or equivalent work experience.Proficient in black box, functional, and user flow testing techniques; strong eye for test coverage gaps, false positives or negatives.Ability to write and understand code.Experience with software development tools (IDE, debugger, Git, JIRA, etc.).Familiarity with JSON objects, SQL queries, data structures.Minimum of 10+ years of experience in writing reliable and maintainable automated tests.Knowledge of design patterns and experience with creating test frameworks.Experience working with Java and JavaScript for test automation.Constantly seeking better solutions to reduce automation flakiness and increase reliability.Ability to build tools that enable teams to write and automate tests.Experience with build management tools (Maven, Gradle).Ability to learn new tools quickly and independently. Preferred QualificationsExperience with continuous integration processes and tools (GitHub, JIRA, Jenkins, RunDeck).Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana, Datadog, Wavefront, etc.Experience testing Android devices, using adb and other Android tools.Experience working with Playwright.Knowledge of Mocha with JavaScript/TypeScript for web, JUnit for RESTful APIs, shell scripting, Python.Knowledge of security testing.
