Solutions Engineer (Snowflake & Data Technologies)

Role : Solutions Engineer (Snowflake & Data Technologies) Experience : 1 - 2 Years Location : Hyderabad Job Summary We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Solutions Engineer with experience in Snowflake and modern data technologies. The ideal candidate will work closely with customers, solution architects, and engineering teams to design, implement, and support cloud-based data solutions. This role requires strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication to deliver scalable and high-quality data solutions. Key Responsibilities Design and implement end-to-end data solutions using Snowflake. Understand customer business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions. Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, database objects, and Snowflake data models. Build and support ETL/ELT pipelines using cloud data integration tools. Integrate data from multiple on-premises and cloud data sources. Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and cost optimization within Snowflake. Collaborate with solution architects, developers, product teams, and customers during implementation. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide production support. Prepare technical documentation, solution designs, and implementation guides. Participate in customer demonstrations, proof of concepts (POCs), and technical workshops. Follow Agile development practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Required Skills Hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Cloud. Strong SQL programming and database concepts. Knowledge of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and ETL/ELT processes. Experience with Python or scripting languages for automation. Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Familiarity with ETL tools such as dbt, Matillion, Azure Data Factory, Informatica, or Talend. Understanding of REST APIs and data integration concepts. Knowledge of Git, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Snowflake certification is an added advantage. Exposure to BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus. Experience with data governance and security concepts is desirable.
