About the role
S45 is building India s first AI native investment bank, transforming how research, dealmaking, and distribution operate across capital markets Build and scale backend systems and/or full-stack applications from scratch Design clean, maintainable, and scalable architecture and APIs Work closely with founders to define product direction and technical roadmap Own features end-to-end: from ideation to deployment and iteration Optimize performance, reliability, and system scalability Set up engineering best practices, code quality standards, and CI/CD pipelines Contribute to hiring, mentoring, and building the engineering team Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and AI teams We re looking for a Founding Engineer to join early and help shape the product, technology, and engineering culture from the ground up You ll work closely with the founders across product, design, and business to build scalable systems, ship fast, and make key architectural decisions This role is ideal for someone who thrives in 0 1 environments, takes ownership end-to-end, and is comfortable balancing speed with long-term scalability
