Responsibilities

Core Functions · Prepare structural detail and concept design drawings for various building and construction types to be built predominantly in ME. · Responsible for Revit and CAD standards, implementation, and enforcement · Creation and maintenance of the software template files to assure standards · Automate routines to support standards and productivity · Provide quality control for completeness and adherence to company standards of all drawings produced · Assist in developing and enforcing BIM documentation and workflow process standards

Technical and Project Management · Maximizing utilization on projects · Create Revit families in line with project requirements. . Key Competencies / Skills · Must be fully conversant with technical structural software, such as Revit Structures, ACAD, and Navisworks, · A sound understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Project is essential · Must be fluent in English with an excellent understanding of technical terminology · The successful candidate will be a dynamic, self-motivated individual focused on delivery to the client and technical excellence. · The role requires management of a number of projects and becoming involved in designs at an early stage. The role includes management of fees, project-resource management, mentoring and coaching junior members of the team. The ability to plan and design deliverables against national & international engineering standards for each stage of a project is a pre-requisite and training and guidance will be provided where necessary. · Must have a professional appearance. · Must have good working knowledge of Windows environments, working knowledge of word processing, spread sheets, e-mail, web-enabled applications and database software. · Communication. · Team working. · Cultural awareness, conscientious and an open mind and excellent communication skills are essential requirements for the role. · Ability to work under pressure and with minimum of supervision and willingness to take on additional responsibilities. · Applicants need to be able to demonstrate good management, communication and technical skills and be capable of working both within the team and independently, as dictated by work load · Good presentation skills
