You are:  Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 5 to 7 years of experience or Bachelor’s in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 3 to 5 years of experience in cable or cable harness design in Semiconductor Equipment or other Capital equipment industry Your typical day:  Creating and maintaining medium complex interconnect, its cable assembly drawings and Bill of Materials based on requirements of Lam Products  Propose OEM components and materials for cable design.  Maintain and develop process checkpoints to ensure adherence to design standards  Accountable for delivering on time with quality as part of performance metrics You need to know:  Experience working in cable harness, Schematics and Interconnect using an of the electrical engineering CAD tools like E3 Zuken, E-plan, Ideas or PCAD (3D Cable Harness) or any similar CAD package  Knowledge on selection of OEM Components, cable accessories and perform alternate component search.  Knowledge on relevant design standards and compliance like UL 508, IEC Standard, SEMI standard (Electrical), IPC 620 etc.  Knowledge on design for manufacturability in cable design Nice to know:  Knowledge on industrial control panel design  Exposure to Semi-conductor industry related Engineering activities  Exposure to Engineering Change Management Location : Bangalore
