About the role
apanese language skills - both written and spoken • 3+ years of development experience in Java and J2EE technology stack • Basic knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery, Angular, React, Node.js) • Experience with object-oriented programming • Hands-on experience with SOAP/Restful Webservices development, XML, HTML/JSP, Spring MVC, Junit • Familiarity with databases (e.g., Oracle, MongoDB), web servers (e.g., Apache), and UI/UX design • Experience with agile/scrum methodologies • Business level bilingual communication skills in Japanese and English • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. • Willingness to learn new technologies and develop new skills • Experience in developing systems for financial services, especially insurance companies
