As a MongoDB Developer at our company, your role will involve designing, building, and optimizing document-oriented database solutions. Your expertise in MongoDB architecture, schema design, performance optimization, and cloud-based deployments will be crucial for the success of our projects. If you have hands-on experience in distributed environments and knowledge of MongoDB Atlas Change Streams, you are the ideal candidate for this position. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement MongoDB schemas based on application access patterns and performance requirements. - Develop and optimize queries, aggregations, and indexing strategies. - Implement and manage Change Streams, preferably MongoDB Atlas Change Streams, for real-time data processing and event-driven architectures. - Collaborate with application teams to integrate MongoDB with backend services and APIs. - Deploy and manage MongoDB on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Configure and maintain replica sets, sharding, backup, and recovery strategies. - Monitor system performance and proactively resolve scalability, availability, and reliability issues. - Ensure data security, access control, and industry best practices adherence. - Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and performance tuning initiatives. - Work closely with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure. Qualifications Required: - Strong hands-on experience with MongoDB, including schema design, indexing, aggregations, and performance tuning. - Familiarity with MongoDB Change Streams, especially MongoDB Atlas Change Streams. - Understanding of change data capture (CDC) or similar event streaming mechanisms. - Experience in cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Solid knowledge of NoSQL databases and distributed systems. - Proficiency in backup, recovery, and high availability strategies. - Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
