ROR Developer

Role Overview: Coders Brain is looking for a skilled ROR Developer to join their team in Mumbai or Kolkata. As an ROR Developer, you will have the opportunity to build interactive customer-facing applications and products, leverage JavaScript and Ruby on Rails to create intuitive interfaces and visualizations, and contribute to the development of novel features for SEO data insights. Key Responsibilities: - Build and maintain the core frontend application - Collaborate with the Frontend team to ensure quality and performance through code reviews and best engineering practices - Contribute to the organization's devops culture by maintaining systems, creating documentation, and handling monitoring and alerting - Participate in architecture design and development for new features and capabilities, as well as system migration - Handle on-call rotation for systems and operations issues, including off-hours alerts - Collaborate with other teams on integrations and dependencies, and work with Product Managers and UX Designers to deliver new features - Utilize good security practices and provide constructive feedback to team members - Seek opportunities to grow skills and expertise Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree/MCA - 5-8 years of experience - Essential Skills: JavaScript (preferred ExtJS framework), Ruby, Ruby on Rails, MySQL, Docker - Desired Skills: Terraform, Basic Unix/Linux administration, Redis, Resque, TravisCI, AWS services (ECS, RDS, EMR, S3, Step Functions, Lambda Functions), Experience working remotely with a distributed team - Great problem-solving skills (Note: The JD did not provide additional details about the company.)
