Software Development Engineer - Test - Automation Testing

Description : Location : Pune Employment Type : Full-Time (FTE) Experience : 5+ Years Notice Period : Immediate to 15 Days Preferred About the Role : We are seeking a highly skilled C# SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) to join our team and support a leading global MNC client. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in test automation, behavior-driven development (BDD), and CI/CD practices, with a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks and test suites using C#. - Create and execute automated test cases for web, API, and backend applications. - Implement and maintain BDD-based test automation frameworks using Reqnroll, SpecFlow, or similar tools. - Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality delivery. - Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to define test strategies and quality standards. - Analyze test results, identify defects, and support root cause analysis. - Continuously improve automation coverage, testing processes, and framework efficiency. - Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and delivery. Required Skills & Qualifications : - 5+ years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation. - Strong programming experience in C# and the .NET ecosystem. - Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks such as Reqnroll, SpecFlow, or equivalent. - Experience in building and maintaining automated test frameworks. - Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. - Experience with API testing and test automation tools. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience working in enterprise-scale environments. - Knowledge of cloud platforms and modern software delivery practices. - Exposure to performance and security testing concepts is a plus.
