Firewall Engineer

Configure, implement, and manage enterprise firewall solutions.Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network security incidents.Manage firewall policies, VPNs, NAT, and security rule changes.Perform packet analysis, security monitoring, and root cause analysis.Integrate firewalls with Active Directory, IAM, SIEM, and other security tools.Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and maintain security compliance.Collaborate with internal teams and OEM vendors for issue resolution.Required Skills3+ years of experience in Network Security and Firewall Administration.Hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Check Point, Cisco ASA, or Fortinet firewalls.Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, VPN, NAT, and the OSI Model.Experience working with Windows, Linux, and Unix environments.Familiarity with SIEM, IAM, packet capture tools (Wireshark/tcpdump), and ITSM processes.Firewall certification (Palo Alto, Check Point, Cisco ASA, or Fortinet) is preferred.Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, or a related field.3+ years of hands-on experience in Network Security and Firewall Administration.Preferred certifications: Palo Alto (PCNSA/PCNSE), Check Point (CCSA/CCSE), Cisco CCNA Security/CCNP Security, or Fortinet NSE/FCP.
