About the role
SAP BDC Experience: 8 10 Years. Work Hours : 5:30 pm to 2:30 am Key Responsibilities for BW to S/4HANA Data Modelling Analyze existing SAP BW data flows, InfoProviders, and source-to-target mapping documentation to understand current reporting logic and data lineage Translate legacy BW extraction logic (generic extractors, LO Cockpit extractors, custom ABAP extractors) into native CDS views or enhanced/custom extractors within S/4HANA Reverse-engineer business logic embedded in BW transformations (routines, start/end routines, rule groups) and reimplement equivalent logic in CDS view annotations, associations, and calculations Validate that new CDS views/extractors produce output consistent with legacy BW targets (reconciliation testing, data validation) Document updated source-to-target mappings reflecting the new S/4HANA-native data model Required Skills & Experience Hands-on experience with SAP BW (extractors, transformations, InfoProviders, DSOs, ADSOs) Solid knowledge of CDS view development (ABAP CDS, annotations, associations, extend views) Experience with S/4HANA embedded analytics and the Virtual Data Model Understanding of source-to-target mapping documentation and data lineage analysis Nice to Have Exposure to SAP Business Data Cloud and SAP Datasphere Prior migration project experience (ECC/BW to S/4HANA) SAP BDC Experience: 8 10 Years.
