About the role
As an experienced Java Developer with strong Python exposure, you will be joining our dynamic engineering team based in Hyderabad. Your role will involve contributing to backend development, API design, and scalable system architecture. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications using Java (Spring/Spring Boot) - Developing RESTful APIs and microservices for enterprise-grade applications - Utilizing Python for scripting, automation, data processing, or service integration - Collaborating with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and frontend teams - Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices - Participating in code reviews, unit testing, and performance optimization - Troubleshooting and resolving production issues to improve application reliability - Contributing to system design and architecture decisions Your required skills for this role include: - Strong proficiency in Java (6+ years) - Experience with Spring Framework / Spring Boot / Microservices architecture - Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles - Experience with REST APIs, multithreading, and concurrency - Hands-on experience in Python (development, scripting, or automation) - Familiarity with Python frameworks (Flask/Django) is a plus In addition to the above, the following qualifications are preferred: - Experience with databases such as SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL (MongoDB) - Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) - Familiarity with DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines) - Strong debugging and problem-solving skills - Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies This opportunity offers you a chance to work on challenging projects and collaborate with diverse teams to drive innovation and excellence in software development.
