About the role
Cognizant is hiring for the role of .NET full-stack developer with Angular! Responsibilities of Candidate: Design end-to-end web application solutions using Net Core, Angular, and Azure that deliver secure, high-performance experiences for consumer-facing platforms and align with enterprise technology standards. Develop modular TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap components that create accessible, responsive user interfaces and support consistent design across products and devices. Implement robust REST API services using Net Core and C # that enable reliable integration with internal systems and external partners while maintaining strong performance and security controls. Optimize data access layers with Entity Framework and TSQL to improve query efficiency ensure data integrity, and support high-volume transaction processing in lending and related domains. Apply agile methodologies to plan refine and deliver user stories in short iterations ensuring transparent communication predictable delivery and continuous alignment with business priorities. Conduct thorough unit integration and functional testing using modern testing frameworks to improve code reliability reduce defects and support frequent deployments in a hybrid work model. Collaborate with product owners business analysts and quality engineers to translate complex requirements into clear technical designs that reduce rework and accelerate time to market. Refactor legacy Net Framework and Java scripting code into maintainable Net Core solutions that improve system stability reduce technical debt and simplify future enhancements. Monitor application performance and availability in Azure environments and implement improvements such as caching configuration tuning and resource optimization to provide consistent user experiences. Document technical designs coding standards and deployment procedures in a clear reusable format that supports knowledge sharing across distributed teams and ensures smooth onboarding of new engineers. Support production deployments and incident resolution during day shift by analyzing logs debugging issues and applying fixes that protect customer trust and minimize service disruption. Engage in code reviews and pair programming activities to strengthen code quality encourage best practices and develop shared ownership of critical services across the engineering team. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by proposing tooling process and automation enhancements that increase development efficiency and improve the reliability of consumer lending solutions. Requirements: Demonstrate strong proficiency in Net Core, .NET Framework, and C # with a track record of building maintainable enterprise applications and mentoring peers on coding standards. Show deep hands-on experience with Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap for creating responsive single-page applications that deliver intuitive workflows for complex business processes. Exhibit practical knowledge of Entity Framework, T-SQL, and relational database design, including query optimization and transaction handling for high-volume business applications. Apply real-world experience with Azure services such as application hosting, monitoring, and configuration management to support secure, scalable, and resilient cloud-based solutions. Utilize a solid understanding of agile methodologies, including backlog management, sprint planning, and retrospective participation, to collaborate effectively in hybrid cross-functional teams. Leverage skills in REST API design and implementation with clear versioning, error handling, and documentation to enable consistent integration patterns across multiple consumer-facing systems. Bring domain awareness or interest in consumer lending processes, credit assessment, and regulatory requirements to design solutions that are compliant, user-centric, and operationally efficient. Communicate clearly with stakeholders and teammates through concise technical explanations and written documentation to ensure shared understanding and reduce ambiguity across locations. Apply structured problem-solving and debugging techniques using logs, metrics and tracing tools to quickly identify root causes and implement sustainable fixes in production environments.
