Oracle ERP Tester

As an experienced Oracle ERP Tester specializing in Automation Testing, your role involves validating and ensuring the quality of Oracle ERP applications. You will be responsible for the following key responsibilities: - Perform Functional Testing (SIT/UAT) on Oracle ERP modules like Finance, Procurement, Order Management, and HCM. - Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for regression and critical business scenarios. - Validate end-to-end business processes across Oracle ERP workflows. - Conduct Integration Testing to ensure seamless data flow between Oracle ERP and third-party systems. - Develop and maintain automation frameworks such as Selenium and TestNG. - Execute API testing for Oracle integrations using tools like Postman/REST Assured. - Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools. - Validate data accuracy at the database level using SQL queries. - Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and functional consultants during testing cycles. - Participate in test planning, effort estimation, and test strategy definition. - Support continuous testing and CI/CD pipelines integration. In order to excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: - Oracle ERP Functional Knowledge: - Strong experience in Oracle ERP (EBS / Fusion). - Knowledge of modules such as Financials (GL, AP, AR), Procurement, Order Management, and optionally HCM. - Automation Testing Skills: - Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium WebDriver and TestNG / JUnit. - Strong knowledge of Java/Python for scripting. - Experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks. - Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber is preferred. - Testing Expertise: - Proficiency in Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing. - Ability to conduct end-to-end business scenario validation. - Experience in API Testing (REST/SOAP) and Database Testing (SQL). - Tools & Technologies: - Familiarity with Test Management tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, Azure DevOps. - Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git. - Experience with API tools like Postman, Rest Assured, and Version control systems.
