About the role
: - Around 12-15 years of relavant experience Deep expertise in Power BI semantic modelling, DAX, Power Query (M), deployment pipelines, RLS, and Power BI Fabric / Premium capacity management. Strong SQL proficiency across Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, SQL Server, or Fabric Warehouse; experience with query optimisation, indexing strategies, and materialised views. Proven experience in dimensional data modelling star/snowflake schemas, slowly changing dimensions, and semantic layer design for enterprise analytics. Hands-on experience with Power BI performance tuning DAX Studio, Tabular Editor, Performance Analyser, VertiPaq optimisation, and composite model design. Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, and the broader Azure data ecosystem (ADLS, ADF, Synapse); understanding of lakehouse and medallion architecture as a BI source layer.
