Job Title: Senior Automation Tester / Functional Tester - Airline Operations Domain Experience: 5-15 Years Location: Noida / Bangalore / Kolkata Notice Period: Any Notice Period (Immediate Joiners Preferred) Employment Type: Full-Time Hiring Priority: Very Urgent Job Summary We are looking for highly skilled Automation Testers / Functional Testers with strong experience in the Airline Operations domain. The ideal candidate should possess a solid background in Quality Engineering & Assurance (QEA), Software Testing, and Airline Operational processes. Candidates must have hands-on testing experience in airline systems and operational workflows, with the ability to validate complex business scenarios across multiple airline applications. Mandatory Requirements - Overall experience: 5 to 15 years - Minimum 3 years of Airline Operations Domain experience (Mandatory) - Solid experience in Software Testing / Quality Engineering & Assurance (QEA) - Experience in either Automation Testing or Functional Testing - Ability to understand and test end-to-end airline operational workflows - Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills - Required Airline Domain Expertise Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following airline operational areas: - Airline Operations - Irregular Operations (IROPS) - Flight Operations - Crew Operations - Network Operations Control (NOC) - Airport Operations - Passenger Service Systems (PSS) - Flight Scheduling & Dispatch - Crew Management Systems - Reservation & Ticketing Systems - Departure Control Systems (DCS) - Operational Recovery Management Core Testing Skills Functional Testing - Requirement Analysis - Test Strategy & Test Planning - Test Case Design & Execution - Defect Management & Root Cause Analysis - Regression Testing - SIT, UAT & End-to-End Testing - Agile/Scrum Methodologies OR Automation Testing Experience in one or more: - Selenium - Java - TestNG - Cucumber - API Testing - REST Assured - Postman - Playwright - CI/CD Integration - Jenkins - Automation Framework Development Roles & Responsibilities - Understand airline operational processes and translate business requirements into test scenarios. - Design, develop, execute, and maintain functional and automation test cases. - Validate airline applications supporting flight operations, crew operations, airport operations, and IROPS workflows. - Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams. - Perform end-to-end testing across integrated airline systems. - Identify, track, and report defects while ensuring timely resolution. - Participate in sprint ceremonies and contribute to QA planning activities. - Ensure high-quality releases through effective testing and quality assurance practices. - Support test automation initiatives and continuous improvement of QA processes. Preferred Qualifications - Experience working with global airline clients. - Exposure to Aviation/Airline digital transformation programs. - Knowledge of airline industry standards and operational procedures. - Experience in cloud-based testing environments. - Certification in ISTQB or relevant testing certifications will be an added advantage. Note: Candidates without a minimum of 3 years of Airline Operations/IROPS domain experience will not be considered. Immediate to short notice candidates are highly preferred; however, candidates with any notice period may apply. .
