VMware and Nutanix Administrator Position Overview: Key Responsibilities: 1. Design, deploy, configure, and maintain VMware vSphere and Nutanix infrastructure. 2. Manage virtualized environments on both VMware and Nutanix platforms, including VM provisioning, performance monitoring, and capacity planning. 3. Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of VMware and Nutanix infrastructure. 4. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as patches, updates, and upgrades for both platforms. 5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to VMware and Nutanix infrastructure and virtual machines. 6. Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions for virtualized environments on VMware and Nutanix. 8. Develop and maintain documentation related to VMware and Nutanix infrastructure configurations, procedures, and policies. Required Skills and Qualifications: 1. Proven experience as a VMware Administrator and Nutanix Administrator or similar roles. 2. In-depth knowledge of VMware vSphere, vCenter Server, ESXi, Nutanix AHV, Prism Central, and other VMware and Nutanix products. 3. Strong understanding of virtualization concepts, including virtual networking, storage, and resource management on both platforms. 4. Experience with server hardware, storage systems, and networking technologies. 5. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation tasks. 6. Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues on both VMware and Nutanix environments. 7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced workplace. 8. Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. .
