Consultant / Data Architect

As a Data Architect at Coherent Pixel System, your primary responsibility will be to design a highly scalable and agile Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) using Data Vault 2.0 methodology. This role will involve solving complex data modeling challenges and leveraging AI-assisted development tools to automate and accelerate the generation of data models, mappings, and standardized Data Vault boilerplate code. Key Responsibilities: - Design and own conceptual, logical, and physical data models implementing Data Vault 2.0 architecture (Hubs, Links, Satellites). - Integrate AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot into data modeling and engineering workflows. - Automate repetitive SQL/DDL generation and accelerate delivery timelines. - Define enterprise-wide data architecture strategies for historical retention, auditability, and system integration. - Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate business ontologies into scalable Data Vault structures. - Establish data modeling standards, hashing rules, and lineage tracking mechanisms. - Ensure architecture supports compliance, governance, and data privacy standards. Qualifications Required: - 10+ years of overall IT/Data experience. - 5+ years of hands-on Enterprise Data Architecture and Data Modeling experience. - Deep expertise in designing and implementing Data Vault 2.0 architectures, including Hubs, Links, Satellites, Hash Keys, PIT/Bridge Tables. - Practical experience guiding teams on AI-assisted development workflows. - Advanced SQL proficiency. - Hands-on experience with modern cloud platforms like Snowflake and Azure Synapse.
