Coherent Pixel Systems Hiring Role: Consultant / FTE Android Developer Location: Trivandrum Experience: 818 Years Work Mode: Hybrid (Office) About the Role We are looking for an experienced Android Developer with deep expertise in Native Android development, Kotlin, BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy), and up-to-date Android architecture. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building high-performance mobile applications integrated with cloud services and connected IoT devices. Key Responsibilities Develop native Android applications using Kotlin and Android SDK Implement new features and optimize existing applications Integrate REST/GraphQL APIs with AWS-hosted backend services Design and implement BLE communication for smart devices Build responsive UI following Material Design guidelines Write unit/UI tests and troubleshoot production issues Manage Play Store releases, builds, and CI/CD pipelines Collaborate with Cloud/Web teams for seamless API integration Required Skills & Experience 818 years of experience in Native Android Development Strong expertise in Kotlin, Android SDK, Jetpack Compose & XML UI Hands-on experience with Android BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) Strong understanding of MVVM, Clean Architecture, Hilt/Dagger Experience with Coroutines, Flow, WorkManager, Room Database Strong knowledge of REST APIs, GraphQL, JWT Authentication & SSL Pinning Experience with Firebase, Crashlytics, CI/CD, and Mobile Testing Technical Requirements Languages: Kotlin, Java, Android SDK UI: Jetpack Compose, XML, Material Design Architecture: MVVM, Clean Architecture, Dependency Injection (Hilt/Dagger) Networking: REST API, GraphQL, JWT, SSL Pinning, OAuth, Cognito BLE: GATT, MTU, Notify/Indicate, Service Discovery, Scan Filtering, OTA Updates, Encrypted Communication Database: Room, Secure Storage, Data Migration Testing: JUnit, Espresso, Kaspresso Tools: Android Studio, Gradle, Maven, Fastlane, Firebase App Distribution, Google Play Stor .
