About the role
Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries , stored procedures , and functions to support business applications and reporting needs. Perform query optimization , indexing , and performance tuning for efficient database operations. Work with SQL Server (T-SQL) , MySQL , and PostgreSQL to manage and maintain databases. Develop and maintain ETL processes using tools such as SSIS , SSRS , or custom scripts. Collaborate with data analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to design and enhance relational database management systems (RDBMS) and data warehouse structures. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security across all database systems. Utilize version control systems (Git) for database script management and versioning. Analyze database performance issues and provide effective solutions to improve efficiency. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Cassandra . Exposure to cloud-based database platforms and data integration frameworks.
