Senior Software Engineer (C++, IOT, Embedded Systems) (Tamil Nadu)

Role & responsibilities - Develop and maintain legacy applications using C/C++. - Analyze, debug, and enhance existing modules. - Design and support event-driven, real-time applications. - Integrate with access control systems, sensors, HVAC, lighting, and IoT devices. - Develop communication interfaces using TCP/IP, Serial (RS232/RS485), Modbus, MQTT, REST APIs, etc. - Ensure high system availability, performance, and backward compatibility. - Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable software solutions. Preferred candidate profile - Strong programming experience in C/C++. - Experience with event-driven architecture and multithreaded programming. - Knowledge of socket programming, networking, and communication protocols. - Experience with Windows/Linux development environments. - Hands-on experience with hardware/device integration. - Familiarity with SQL databases and version control (Git/SVN). - Robust debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Experience in Hotel Automation, GRMS, BMS, IoT, or Embedded Systems. - Knowledge of HVAC, lighting control, access control, and building automation. - Exposure to legacy system modernization and API integration.
