As a Global Data Management (GDM) Analyst at Colgate-Palmolive Company, your role is crucial in ensuring accurate and complete Finance master data is maintained through the lifecycle. Your responsibilities include: - Validating and ensuring accuracy, completeness, and approval of Finance master data according to external and internal standards - Following governance processes for GL accounts, secondary cost elements, and cost centers master data requests - Monitoring data processes for compliance with cycle times, performance measures, and KPIs - Analyzing data in systems to support business functions and resolving issues - Generating data quality reports, planning and executing data cleansing initiatives - Participating in projects, audits, and gap-fit analysis for Data Management standardization - Developing and maintaining Data Management documentation and identifying improvements for governance processes In terms of qualifications, you are required to have: - A Bachelor's degree - 2+ years of work experience - Experience with Master Data Tool/Technology, SAP or other ERP tools - Working knowledge of Machine Learning/Automation tools - Proficiency in Reporting and/or Budgeting Additionally, it would be beneficial to have: - Working knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Google App scripts - Experience with third-party data analysis and consumer packaged goods industry - Understanding of Colgate's processes and tools supporting analytics - Willingness to experiment with new tools and techniques - Good facilitation, project management skills, and ability to handle difficult situations tactfully Colgate-Palmolive Company is committed to fostering an inclusive environment where diversity is celebrated, and everyone feels a sense of belonging.
