About the role
Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced AEM Forms Architect to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Forms solutions. The role involves defining end-to-end architecture for scalable, secure, and compliant forms platforms, guiding development teams, and ensuring alignment with business and technical standards. Key Responsibilities Define end-to-end architecture for AEM Forms solutions (On-Prem, AMS, or AEM Forms as a Cloud Service). Design scalable and secure architectures for Adaptive Forms, workflows, and document services. Lead architecture decisions for form authoring, data capture, validation, and submission. Architect integrations with enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, DMS, payment gateways, identity providers). Define and enforce AEM Forms best practices, coding standards, and design patterns. Guide teams on OSGi, Sling, JCR, and AEM Forms internals. Design AEM workflows, integrations, and document generation pipelines. Ensure compliance with security, accessibility (WCAG), and regulatory standards. Review solution designs, code, and performance optimization strategies. Collaborate with business stakeholders, UX, DevOps, and infrastructure teams. Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural governance. Required Skills & Qualifications Deep expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Forms. Strong background in Java, J2EE, and enterprise application architecture. Hands-on experience with: Adaptive Forms, Form Fragments Forms Data Model (FDM) AEM Workflows Document Services (Output, Assemble, PDF Services) Strong understanding of OSGi, Apache Sling, and JCR. Experience designing REST/SOAP integrations. Knowledge of security architecture (OAuth, SAML, authentication/authorization). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and cloud architectures. Good to Have Experience with AEM Forms Cloud Service. Adobe AEM Forms / Architect certification. Knowledge of Dispatcher, CDN, and caching strategies. Exposure to DevOps tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions). Experience with government, BFSI, or regulated industries. Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.x).
