About the role
Company: CTDI Project: Reliance Payroll: CTDI Job Summary We are looking for a Desktop Support Field Engineer to provide onsite technical support for Reliance locations. The candidate will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT hardware while ensuring minimal downtime and smooth business operations. Key Responsibilities - Provide onsite desktop support at Reliance locations. - Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and peripherals. - Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues. - Install and configure Windows operating systems and standard applications. - Troubleshoot Outlook, Microsoft Office, VPN, and email-related issues. - Coordinate with the remote IT team for issue resolution and escalations. - Perform hardware replacements and preventive maintenance. - Maintain service reports and update tickets within the defined SLA. - Support users with IT-related queries and ensure timely resolution. - Follow company policies and safety guidelines while visiting client locations. Required Skills - Valuable knowledge of desktop and laptop troubleshooting. - Basic understanding of networking (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi). - Experience with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office. - Knowledge of printer installation and troubleshooting. - Good communication and customer-handling skills. - Ability to travel to different Reliance sites as required. Eligibility - Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or a related field. - 2+ years of experience in Desktop Support or Field Support.
