Lead Data Analyst

About the role As an Engineering Team Lead, you'll be responsible for the technical direction, quality, and delivery of a cross-functional team working on our most strategic data products. You'll lead by example: designing solutions, writing code, mentoring engineers, and working closely with architects and stakeholders to move us forward. This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll be expected to write code, guide architecture, help shape team processes, and contribute to the technical growth of the team around you. As a member of the Data and Analytics leaders group, you'll work with the VP Data and Analytics, architect, data operations lead and product manager to translate business goals into scalable technical solutions. Key Responsibilities Lead the technical execution of projects within the Data and Analytics Engineering team from design to deployment. Collaborate with our architect and operations lead to define scalable, secure, and maintainable system designs. Break down complex problems and drive practical solutions with the team. Champion software engineering best practices, including code quality, testing, observability, and automation. Mentor and support team members through code reviews, design sessions, and informal coaching. Evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and patterns — and guide their adoption when appropriate. Foster a culture of inclusion, transparency, and continuous improvement. Required Skills Proven experience as a senior engineer or technical lead, with a strong track record of delivering enterprise-grade software solutions with 12+Years of experience in Software Industry. Deep understanding of software design, distributed systems, and cloud architectures. Experience leading cross-functional teams and mentoring other engineers. Skilled in evaluating trade-offs and driving consensus in architectural decisions. Strong communication skills and able to articulate complex ideas clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. Experience working in agile, collaborative environments with a team-first mindset. Desired Skills Experience in fintech, particularly with broker-dealer systems, trading data, or regulatory compliance. Hands-on experience with modern data platforms or data engineering systems. Familiarity with technologies like C#, AWS, Temporal.io, AWS Glue, GraphQL, or Blazor. Demonstrable experience in data modelling and data architecture including data warehousing, data lakes, ETL, streaming, and data APIs. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
