Job Title: Application Operations Engineer (AppOps) Location: Cincinnati, OH 1. Application Monitoring and Performance Optimization: - Implement and manage robust monitoring tools to track application performance metrics. - Proactively identify bottlenecks and performance issues, and optimize applications for speed and efficiency. 2. Incident Management: - Lead incident response efforts, coordinate with relevant teams, and ensure timely resolution of application-related issues. - Establish and maintain incident management protocols, including post-incident analysis and reporting. 3. Infrastructure Management: - Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure the underlying systems and networks support application requirements. - Provide input on infrastructure enhancements and upgrades to improve application stability and scalability. 4. Release Management: - Work closely with development teams to plan and execute smooth application releases. - Coordinate testing efforts, rollback procedures, and communication strategies for new releases. 5. Capacity Planning: - Conduct capacity planning exercises to anticipate future resource needs based on application usage trends. - Provide recommendations for scaling infrastructure and application components to accommodate growth. 6. Security and Compliance: - Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain security best practices within the application environment. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to application operations. 7.
