Network Security

Role: Senior Network Security Engineer Location: USA (Any location within US) Remote. Who are we looking for? A Senior level Network Security Engineer to manage a critical project for one of our biggest client. The Individual should be passionate about technology, experienced in designing, implementing, troubleshoot & managing enterprise network. Technical Skills: Evaluate and recommend specific products and platforms to provide cost effective solutions that meet architectural requirements. Communicate technical concepts effectively to the business stakeholders. Coordinate deployment of network security infrastructure with other members of IT organization. Keeping abreast of industry trends, technology innovation, and changing customer requirements to help with the continual service improvement process Creation of HLD (High Level Design) and LLD (Low Level Design). Build Implementation Plan and co-ordinate in raising the Change Request. Perform Peer-Review of Engineering Work Orders (EWO) and represent CAB/TAB review for the approvals. Prepare Pre/Post Implementation Testing. Understand and deliver detailed customer requirements. Good experience working in Palo Alto Firewall. Experience in Fortigate Firewall desirable. Ability to craft and execute ruleset changes Coordinate and validate testing after ruleset changes Participate in the Team 7x24 on-call coverage rotation, supporting the need for: Troubleshooting assist for sev1 and high severity incident Scheduled Standard and emergency changes Good experience working on Netscalar. Experience working on Juniper Pulse desirable. Should have implemented large Network Firewall projects in the past with a single - vendor environment. Multi-vendor environment experience desirable. Prior experience in design/implementation or operation of an enterprise firewall infrastructure. Solid Understanding of security policies and security requirements. Coordinate deployment of network security infrastructure with other members of IT organization. Aware of current industry / market standards and Technology Experience – 8+ years Education: Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study; without a degree, three additional years of relevant professional experience. Good to have experience in McAFee web proxy / IDS / DLP Good to have experience in Site to Site VPN and Remote access VPN Should be CCNP (Security) certified Process Skills: Capable of analyzing customer requirement and design/Implement per project defined process. Demonstrated strong personal mastery, including ethics, interpersonal skills, and engagement in continuous learning. Has ability to drive resolution of problems. Able to communicate and present complex issues with assurance and confidence. During troubleshooting calls have good skills in questioning, listening, ideas development, permission and rapport, and influencing. Ability to work with a team to provide written responses to technical proposals and /or reports/documentation for delivery. Behavioral Skills : Resolve technical issues of projects and Explore alternate designs Participates as a team member and fosters teamwork by inter-group coordination within the modules of the project. Effectively collaborates and communicates with the stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction Train and coach members of project groups to ensure effective knowledge management activity. Qualification: Network Security Engineer who has at least 8+ years of work experience in Firewall Design & Implementation projects. Education qualification: B.Tech, BE, BCA, MCA, M. Tech or equivalent technical degree from a reputed college
