SDET/Test Automation Engineer

SDET - Cyprus Framework + Typescript – Job Description Skills: SDET(Software Development Engineer in Test) Test analysis, design, automation, integration, and end-to-end testing as well as functional manual and API testing Below are the Responsibilities, Required Skills of the requirement Responsibilities • Seeking a senior SDET for test automation for the CRM Salesforce team. • Will primarily handle writing UI automation scripts initially and (possibly later on) other layers of automation such as API, Apex, and performance testing. • Regression suite will be used for release cycles or alleviate manual verification which the team currently does. Required Skills • Should have min 7 years SDET experience. • Cyprus Framework Typescript with Cucumber BDD. No selenium. JavaScript is fine if they can pick up/demonstrate ability to pick up new language. • Node.js • Understanding of design patterns like Page object model, singleton. • Ability to write clear test cases and scalable scripts under an Agile methodology. • Clear understanding of source code repository (i.e. github/bitbucket). Including GIT commands, branching strategy, pull request reviews, debug code • Reporting solution • CI/CD understanding. DevOps best practices on how to integrate regression testing on a github action pipeline Preferred Skills • If less test experience, front end developers generally have an easier time learning/picking up the role and responsibilities. • There will be a lot of interaction with the DOM and DOM elements. • CLEAR communication. Candidate will be expected to present demos, clarify business workflows, detail requirements, and collaborate with the Salesforce agile team daily.
