Tech Lead

Job Requirements ¿ 5+ years of professional experience in software QA engineering. ¿ Working knowledge of the various types of testing, from functional testing to performance, Integration, and mobile/browser compatibility testing. ¿ Design, develop, maintain and execute functional, regression, integration and end to end tests. ¿ Have crafted test strategies, test plans, and test cases. ¿ Experience in defect lifecycle and defect management tools like JIRA or ALM ¿ Maintain and improve automation frameworks that can be used by both Development and QA. ¿ Perform automated and manual testing efforts for our products. ¿ Create test case suites, lead bug bashes and execute test passes for various features. ¿ Work with contractors to coordinate regression test passes. ¿ Help define, improve and implement QA standard methodologies. ¿ Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. ¿ Efficient in effort estimation, planning, prioritization and time management. ¿ Flexible with a positive ¿do what needs to be done¿ demeanor. ¿ Ability to work autonomously with minimal direction. Qualifications ¿ Hands on experience in at least one programming/scripting language: Python, Core Java ¿ Hands on experience in Automating Web UI test cases using Selenium web driver, Java/Python, TestNG, Appium, Espresso ¿ Hands on experience in testing API testing using Postman/Soap UI, Java/Python based frameworks, and or scripting ¿ Good understanding of SQL and the ability to query and perform data comparisons, diffs and table joins. ¿ Experience with startup teams and fast moving product cycles. ¿ Experience with Android, iOS or other mobile app development or testing. ¿ Experience with JVM architecture i.e. Java. ¿ Working knowledge of JIRA to quickly build competency with new tools as needed.
