Tech Lead

¿ Will be responsible for generating cost reduction ideas, design related changes to improve design optimization, along with Supplier and OEM ¿ Based on his technical expertise, he shall propose alternate manufacturing and assembly process to improve efficiency. To propose value adds in product, process, assembly etc. ¿ Ready to travel to supplier site for study, coordination, setup VAVE activity etc. ¿ Work closely with Supplier to understand the materials used and propose alternate material etc. without hampering the existing functionality and performance of the product. ¿ Follow up with Supplier to ensure the set quality standards are followed. Suggest any improvisation on quality standards, if any based on his past experience. ¿ Able to work autonomously with suppliers up to executive leadership to gain traction on coordination and execution. ¿ Work on each actionable idea, technical details for each idea which could include Bill of Materials information, photographs, weights, dimensions, analysis and any relevant information to support the idea as actionable ¿ Coordinate with OEM team members during the ideation process. ¿ Reviews of each VA/VE session shall be cross functional and include all necessary stakeholders along with Supplier on a periodic basis. ¿ Periodic reporting to the manager along with action plan ¿ Candidate should executing a new Benchmarking area setup, Organize materials for investigation, order products from internal and external sources, initiate purchase requisitions, Complete display data and detail investigation report as needed.
