Job Description:

Job Summary We are seeking a CMDB & ITIL Administrator to support governance, process administration, and data management initiatives across enterprise IT environments. This role is responsible for governing CMDB processes, maintaining data quality, supporting IT service management practices, and driving governance initiatives related to cloud, AI, and enterprise infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong ServiceNow administration experience, knowledge of ITIL processes, and expertise in CMDB governance and data administration. Key Responsibilities • Govern and maintain Configuration Management Database (CMDB) processes, standards, and governance controls. • Monitor CMDB data quality and ensure data integrity through governance policies and best practices. • Develop reports, dashboards, analytics, and performance metrics to support governance initiatives. • Support AI governance initiatives by ensuring appropriate governance controls and data management practices. • Identify opportunities to automate manual governance and administrative processes. • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to onboard new data sources into the CMDB while ensuring compliance with governance standards. • Administer and support ServiceNow platform capabilities related to ITSM, CMDB, Software Asset Management (SAM), and Hardware Asset Management (HAM). • Maintain structured data through normalization, validation, and ongoing quality improvement efforts. • Ensure compliance with IT service governance frameworks, organizational standards, and operational processes. • Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, AI, and application teams to support enterprise governance initiatives. • Communicate governance processes, standards, and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Minimum of 5 years of related professional experience, including at least 1 year of IT Service Management (ITSM) experience. • Strong ServiceNow administration experience. • Experience with ITSM modules, Configuration Management Database (CMDB), Software Asset Management (SAM), and Hardware Asset Management (HAM). • ITIL Foundation Certification or significant hands-on ITIL process experience. • Experience working in IT systems, CMDB administration, data governance, or governance-focused environments. • Experience with data normalization and maintaining high-quality structured data. • Experience implementing data governance policies, standards, and governance controls. • Knowledge of Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and IT service governance frameworks. • Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or similar technologies. • Understanding of AI, infrastructure, and governance concepts. • Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification. • Experience supporting enterprise governance and compliance initiatives. • Experience building governance dashboards, reporting, and analytics. • Experience automating governance and administrative processes. • Experience collaborating with cross-functional technical and business teams. Certifications • ITIL Foundation Certification. • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (Preferred).
