Job Description:

Job Summary We are seeking a Data Analyst to analyze large datasets and deliver actionable insights that improve product quality, operational performance, and customer experience. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI, SQL, Python, and statistical analysis, with experience working in the automotive engineering industry. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop dashboards, identify trends, support root cause analysis, and drive data-informed decision-making. Key Responsibilities • Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to product quality and customer experience. • Support the identification of emerging issues and perform root cause analysis using data modeling and analytical techniques. • Develop and implement analytical methodologies to improve product performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction metrics. • Analyze operational, customer, service, manufacturing, and warranty data to generate actionable business insights. • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports. • Ensure dashboard accuracy, data integrity, and proper functionality of scripts, links, and visualizations. • Develop and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources. • Utilize Python and statistical techniques to perform advanced analytics and data analysis. • Apply machine learning techniques such as classification, regression, clustering, and anomaly detection to solve business problems. • Support data modeling, transformation, and data structuring initiatives to improve data accessibility and usability. • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and data teams to support analytics initiatives and continuous improvement efforts. • Communicate technical findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Identify opportunities to improve analytics processes, reporting, and data workflows. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in a data analytics role. • Experience creating and maintaining Power BI dashboards. • Strong SQL skills with experience integrating data from multiple sources. • Experience programming with Python or willingness to quickly develop proficiency. • Experience working with large and complex datasets. • Strong understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques, including regression, clustering, classification, and anomaly detection. • Experience analyzing warranty, quality, product performance, or operational data. • Experience within the automotive engineering industry. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications • Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. • Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms or big data technologies. • Experience with advanced analytics or machine learning initiatives in production environments. • Knowledge of data engineering concepts and experience collaborating with data engineering teams. • Experience supporting quality engineering, product reliability, or operational analytics initiatives.
