10223 - SAP ISU Functional SME

Job Summary:

ComTec is seeking an experienced SAP ISU Functional SME to support and optimize utilities operations. The role involves production support, incident and change management, and functional expertise in billing, metering, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the functional lead and SME for SAP IS-U modules in electric utility implementations and operations.

Gather and analyze business requirements across key areas like Meter-to-Cash (M2C), Device Management, Billing, FICA, and Customer Service.

Provide functional support for SAP ISU projects, including configuration, testing, and business requirement validations.

Manage critical incidents (Sev1 / Sev2) ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution.

Review and reduce incident backlog; work with vendors for timely resolution.

Provide on-call support (24×7 rotation) and oversee SAP approvals.

Monitor billing batches, alerts, and ad-hoc requests ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Support SAP ISU projects and handle customer escalations effectively.

Required Skills & Experience:

5+ years of SAP ISU functional experience (billing, metering, device management, customer service).

Strong incident/change management and escalation handling expertise.

Solid background in SAP ISU Production Management , including incident handling, month-end, and outage management.

Hands-on experience in incident and change management processes (ITIL or similar frameworks).

Experience in automation of ISU operations or proactive monitoring tools.

Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Utilities migration or implementation projects.

Familiarity with integration between SAP ISU and enterprise systems (CRM, FICA, etc.).

Strong Knowledge on compliance and regulatory frameworks

Good to have SAP Certification in IS-U or related modules.

Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
